Winged figure on elephant
Tenth century style Tra Kieu. 86 cm in height.

In most cases, these motifs are singly or together in one embossed with deer and deer, as shown in the sculpture rated 29.1, Tra Kieu Hall Museum, and the statues of the elephant-headed Gajasimha and body of a lion. The animal above is squarely on his left hind leg, right relied heavily on the head of the elephant. The forelimbs and his aggressive attitude majestically show that it is in attack position. His opponent is sitting quietly under him. The winner, has topped a break, still keeps her sarong skirt of very short front and just below the belt a triangular fold feature, which occurs most often to the sculptures of human figures from the tenth century and after, and belonging to the style of Tra Kieu.
