Eardrum to the goddess
Xe end - early twelfth century. 69 cm x 82 cm.

This tympanum up of 0, 69 m and a width of 0, 82 m is a goddess (Lakshmi?), Sitting cross-legged statue strong and proportionate, nose and eyes removed and worn, the forehead and mouth partially shucked .
His face lights up, however, a refined and beautiful. Her hairstyle is a kind of conical Kirit mukuta undecorated, reminiscent of the style statues Chanh Lo (eleventh century, Quang Ngai). Earrings him down to his shoulders horizontal. His right arm still free and his damaged left arm to the elbow of the hand, wearing jewelry. His hands hold each something like a lotus petal that recognizes difficult because of the chips. The goddess wears a necklace and a collar and left uncovered her breasts bounced and her belly.
She is represented in the attitude of meditation, the right foot, point in the air, resting on the sole of his left foot, big and strong legs to the thighs that covers a kind of sarong for the first three layers, at waist level, is composed of fringes and two carved without decoration. The periphery of the relief is piped ornaments shaped spearhead, in the manner of decorations art Thap Mam (twelfth-fourteenth centuries - Binh Dinh). This sculpture with his way of representing the goddess plump characteristic style Chanh Lo, and the hairstyle, jewelry and decorations of the character of the periphery which date from the early style of Thap Mam, allow us to locate the implemented during the transition period between the two styles that have occurred in the late tenth to the beginning of the twelfth century.
